  1. Andy That's really good advice, and it's good to know they send you 2 sets!! I didn't know that, did you used the templates for the tube stripes and free handed the rest ?, It seems risky but well worth the effort
  2. Hello Troopers!! While I wait for my kit to arrive I was researching a bit the Helmet decals vs Decals, do you guys have any experience with both? I was looking at theTrooperbay masking Templates , are they hard to get right for a first timer ? Is there chance for the paint to run ? How many of you guys have decals and how many hand painted ? pros and cons?
  3. I was looking at the Doppy's resin kit, and it seems that it doesn't come with the scope rail, is there a place this could be bought or a tutorial how to make one?
  4. I will be cool though to have a list of all the options available out there!!
  5. Thanks Man, appreciate it, I think I might give the Doopydoos a try
  6. True, I bet if they were just a bit more affordable they would sell tons
  7. That sound really good, I saw the SDS's , I wonder why people are skeptical of his products, the blaster look pretty decent to me
  8. So in order from the top would be 1. one of those awesome custom made ones 2. the Hyperfirm and then the doopy's or the sds???
  9. That's really cool, I ordered an AP too, can't wait for it to arrive!
  10. good idea!! I bet one can even have different sounds coming from it
  11. Lol true that about ditching the sound for coolness factor!! I just saw a video of a guy with a blaster core but it looks that you really need the skill to put that off
  12. yeahh it might be tricky , What could be another way to go? get the hasbro and get it modified ? It seem that the Hasbro's proportions are a bit off
  13. Right on!!! Is there a way to adapt some electronic to the Doppy's kit so it can have the blaster sound???
  14. doopy doo's looks like pretty good, I wonder if you can bring them to Canada?
  15. Good question, I didn't even think of that, I'm sure it's been done, I found a link to the Mounties site: http://www.rcmp-grc....eplique-eng.htm It says that is assessed case by case, any one here in Canada had any experience with this???
  16. Hello Troopers !!! So I though that while I wait for my armor to arrive I should start looking for a blaster to complete the awesomeness , but it seems that unlike the hard armor forum, there's not a guide or list with what's available out there , like for example, who sells resin kits and how accurate they are, or what would a top 20 list would look like? I think it could be nice to have a something like that, anyhow any thoughts?
  17. Indeed Snowtroopers are very awesome!! :snowtrooper: , ahh and a word of advice for those that order online : go two sizes smaller that your normal fit, I'm 9 and those were waaay to big, almost ridiculously big, I though they were mislabeled, but no , they're all like that ,at the end got the number 7's , and even if you go 2 sizes down they might still look big but the wool liner is really thick so it will make it nice and snug, they are really comfy actually, I think that I might even wear them to walk to work, the other day was -28 . So now I have to keep on looking for a good pair of Stormtrooper boots, any suggestion on were to find them?
  18. Stopped by an army surplus along the highway looking for trooper boots , they didn't have any but found these ,I guess I know now what trooper I'll be working on next!
