Is there a specific number of stripes In need to have in the traps and tears for EIB status? I'm hand painting the lines and i'm seeing different counts. on this helmet (http://www.starwarshelmets.com/original-ANH-hero-Stormtrooper-armor-helmets.htm) I see 7 stripes in the tear and 13 stripes in the trap. OR should I go along with the Pandatrooper layout in his tutorial, 6 in the tear and 13 in trap?

A little update I've swapped out the belt for canvas and I've made some more progress on the new lid, I've started painting hopeing to have this done and approved before the end of Nov.

Can you polish the helmet after painting? I have paint on hand but no polish....

Got my ATA helmet in. Following the Pandatrooper tutorial, I've trimmed the eyes and teeth out, how do they look? Pulling my paints together and I've seen conflicting info is the vocoder satin black? And the black stripes/detail gloss? Thanks

Thanks for the advice, I'll look them up. After some consideration, I think I'm going to go with an ATA helmet, I'm not sure I want to troop around with a fiberglass bucket.

Got my web belt in but before I pulled of the plastic one I wanted to have the clips on my TD canister done. How's it look? and as you can see I pulled of the sticker.

"Helmet Repair/Armor Upgrade" Thanks! We had an armor party today after an event so I brought along this helmet. I mixed up a small amount of bondo and attacked a small crack on the back of the helmet. After sanding it looked pretty good. As im going to have to repaint anyway, I'm going to give it a go and attempt to patch the cracks.

Im swapping out the belt, buttons and the other items Identified in the FX upgrade thread mentioned earlier. What can I do to the TD Canister to bring it up to Par, I want to ditch the velcro and add the spring clips for sure what else can I do to the canister itself? E6000 thanks fo the suggestion guys, I have some on my workbench BTW Can I edit the thread title?

I need to glue the sniper plate on as it was just velcroed in place, what is a recommended glue for this KIT?

Thanks for the advice, a new helmet kit looks like what I need to do. I'm thinking about converting this one to a sandy to cover the repairs. This suit was listed as a ANH Hero, any kit in particular I should look for?

I bought a set of armor from a retiring member. Here is one of the two helmets I got with the kit, the other is an unmodded MR. Is there any repair method for filling the hairline cracks and fixing or replacing the ear caps? Or would it be easier to mod the MR with the very helpful tutorials posted here?
