  1. Excellent work on your ROTJ build. I am sure you will be an inspiriation to others wanting to do the same.
  2. I dont think it matters what hand you hold the blaster in. ANH and ESB seem to switch hands and in ROTJ are left handed. As long as the holster is on the correct side as in the movies. I am a leftie and prefer holding my blaster in my left hand.
  3. I couldnt get my birthday either so I used the year I was born 73 and put the day I was born 3rd and added another 3 so it became TK 3373.
  4. Also regarding the thighs, for my armour I made a belt suspender system similar to what you mention using webbing material. A set of snaps on the end of straps then connect to my thighs which keep them from falling down. Hope this helps.
  5. This is how I attached my hand plates By using an elastic strap with a snap to the handplate. Cheers
  6. Wow. Just last week I had someone ask if they could rent my TK armour from me for a party. I was a little skeptical as I had spent a lot of time on my kit. I ended up saying no. I told them it wasnt the sort of costume to be used for social gatherings.
  7. These conversions look great. Here's what I did with mine a year ago.
  8. Nobody's mentioned ESB where the stormies where the holster on the right but most carry the blaster in the left hand as the pic below. As a leftie it wouldnt be too much hassle to cross draw the blaster from the right hand holster as the mag would be on the outside with the handle facing forward.
  9. I waited half a year for mine to arrive as well, at least it seemed that long. I'm gonna trim out the right eye and replace the erators. I am not happy with the ears on mine though. Glad to see Im not the only one.
  10. TK 3373 requesting 501st access. http://www.501stlegion.org/members/display...hp?userID=10315
  11. Yeah I got it from ebay last year. This is actually the second one he made as the first one supposedly got lost in transit between the UK and NZ. Funny enough whilst I was waiting to get the helmet I bought an unassembled RT Mod helmet from a guy in my garrison. Which is actually the one I use when trooping as I like it better and it goes well with my FX armour.
  12. Here is a photo of the back of the helmet. Havent got one of the inside as yet. Will post one later. Cheers
  13. I bought this helmet a year ago and at the time I thought it looked like an AP helmet but after looking at some recent topics I am not so sure now. I have almost completed building just need some tube stripes and neck trim. Photos were taken earlier on in the build. Its a pretty nice helmet and I am happy with it. Cheers
  14. I painted the inside of my helmet because it looks cool and kind of spacey. There is also a refernce picture in the Star Wars Visual Guide of a Stormtrooper Helmet with a black lined interior.
