Maybe these if the stamped logo on the side can be obscured?

i dont think can be oscured

today i just got mine bought from ebay

they fit ok. Now i have to remove the sewn circle logo and dye with angelus white leather paint as showed here

Painting the shoes is simple. The Angelus paints have good coverage, and are easy to work with. When applying light colors over dark leather, expect to use multiple coats. I had to use 5 coats to cover black leather with white paint, but other colors usually work fine with 2-3 coats. Allow the paint to dry between coats, I recommend at least 20 minutes. As with most paints, several thin coats is better than one thick one!

the light stamped logo will be oscured by the armor

Whatever happened to the Reception Center on FISD that was based on the wiki? We had an excellent boot page that had links to the tutorials to make your own boots, but it's no longer there.

In fact the whole Tutorials area of FISD is a huge cluster f*** now compared to what it was before - hopefully the new management will get it unscrewed this year. I say this as then it would be just a click to get to what you want.

    Here was Mark's HOWTO:-----------

link is missing, and i cant' find in this website too.

there is still the google cache up

  3. i just completed a slight modification:

I plugged the hole on the left side of the counter and I moved the blue LED inside the counter, with the light facing up. In this way we can see the blue pulsing light which indicates the state ON, via the net in front of the counter. Before it was too bright and not very canon.

    p.s.

just a note about a new mp3 sound module found that may fit this project. This is the link to the ebay seller

From description datasheet it plays mp3 files via serial RS232 mode (that means can be controlled easily trought arduino), powered by 5volts

it's cheaper (19$ / 15€) and smaller (because it uses micro-sd instead of SD card) and may works fine with arduino.

I just bought 1 for test.

  4. some time ago i have seen a video on youtube about a star wars game showing a tavern where someone was killed and some police troopers were investigating there (before the jedi or sith came). They had also some police veichles.

I was quite sure that game was Star Wars the Force Unleashed II, but i cant find that scene anymore

i would like to sample the siren sound from their veichles for a project.

Someone know about that scene and the title of the game?

  5. Love the fact you have to reload.

    love it too :)

Amazing work, Looks like you'll have a steady market if you decide to sell these as a kit, I know I'll want one...Buona Fortuna !!!

thanks i will think about it; i also shared my electronic work (scheme and code) for everyone that wish to made it :)

Thats pretty awesome! Similar to the Hyperdyne set-up. I bet it cost you alot less $$ though haha

yep and i am happy it's working fine :D
  6. The E11 and stun modes with reload behavior, LED and powerful speakers make this awesome for trooping where it's usually loud (conventions). I put a simple board from triktoys on mine and it works but nothing like this and not nearly loud enough. I don't need all the other SFX as I like the idea of a blaster being a blaster. But this is truly amazing and a work of both art and love. Beautiful! If you ever start selling these let me know. :-)

thanks! Actually during conventions i enjoy to use more the "Boba flame" or the "Uzi" light effect because there is a good chance to get the "laser" cached by camera lens
