The shins look good, line the tops up and trim all the return off the bottoms. The inside curve is clearly the inner shins. You have them correct. all the parts are unique. Looking Good.

Hero's have 3 bump ears. It would be easier to buy a hero kit and build it. Your not really stuck with this lid, you could sell it on the bay

Your return looks nice, but thats a lot of extra work. It may have been easier to trim the ab piece, Thats what I did. I know its to late but, this may help someone else building NE kit. Im kind of tall and trimming the kidney would be out of the question. As for the back, I see your looking at screen shots, thats the best way to trim your armor.

Greg, I would not trim the kidney. Just line up the parts like you had them. Trim it like this and don't worry about the back piece not lining up with kidney. When you where the armor it will line up perfectly.

The top of the ab and top of the kidney should line up.

Try removing the padding on top of the helmet.

I wasn't happy with the tube stripes. There from trooper bay and they are great for the stunt helmets, but not quite right for the hero. So I did them free hand which took a few attempts. The spacing and thickness are a bit off in places.

I have been using disposable batteries and decided to find something that I could charge on the go with usb connection. This power bank has 2400mah and 5v output. Works perfect for helmet fans. Anyone else using these. ======

Maybe she means, you have to many FX helmets.

If you have some gloss white spray paint laying around the garage, it works well for painting the screws.

This vocoder has a lot of detail, I may have overstated it.

There made from thick resin like material I think it's called purplex or something like that.. I would really like to troop this helmet. Congrat's on your level 3 approval.

I took these pic's in the garage with fluorescent light. The brow isn't as low as it looks.
