  1. Square up the corners like this. 7/16 is about right for the buttons.
  2. Sorry its been awhile, Im looking to finish for celebration. Almost done with the details. I hope you enjoy these pic's. I know its over sanitized. Nick
  3. Upload your pic's to photobucket, then insert the image code into the post. It's free.
  4. Awesome build Dennis, best looking trooper in the movie.
  5. You can use the ears that came with the kit. Grind off the 2 bumps in the middle and then add one bump back the middle with some bondo. This will be hidden under the gray paint. Hope this helps, Nick
  6. I think the thighs are pretty close to the same size. Not perfectly but, close. make your thighs like look like these. Try not use other peoples builds for reference. Nick
  7. Thanks, guys, and your right Gaz, I had to move the ear 1/8" back to clear the rivet. Plus I have to say, the ears are better than before, there's not so much rough material and it gives you more to work with.
  8. Add 16 in to your waist size. 40 in waist/ 56 in belt.
  9. Finished the ears, The left one was easy, but the right one took a while. I ruined one ear and had to start over. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but the rear details have better definition than before ATA's has increased his game. I won't paint this for a while, but I'll post pics when I do. Cheers Nick
  10. I promise I'll trim my finger nails after I trim the ears
  11. I couldn't get the ear to fit flush on the top, so i put another rivet in.
  12. marking high spots with pencil.
  13. Thanks guys. the high brow is pretty hot. Ear trimming, using the score and snap. i marked with a pencil first and left some extra room for error.
  14. One of the reasons i started this build thread is to encourage people to trim the eyes and the teeth out more. The ATA helmets are very thick with faint details, you have to trim more out for it to look right IMHO. The cap has better details than before, The rear details look great. Cheers, Nick
  15. This how the bottom looks. another shot I know these are out of order, but you get the idea. Ears are next..
  16. http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i447/sccoast/ata%20helmet/atab9_zpsef85ec29.jpg[/img Trimming the ears roughly to begin fitting
  17. I put some rivets in to make trimming the ears easier.
  18. I trimmed the face plate
  19. Well here it goes.. Got the box
