  1. Hmmm... EIB it is then
  2. Need Tobias to approved the basic first, dont I??? Otherwise I can send in the EIB right away I believe. As far as I can see the only thing keeping me from Centurion, is the charging handle on the E-11... Oh and that pesky back plate...
  3. I'm done and pictures are sent to the GML for approval When its approved I can touch up on all the little things, like painting the rivets and such. But basic approval for now.
  4. Yeah I saw that, but actually its the Kidney riding up I'll try and fix it with some velcro between the belt and the kidney.
  5. Tried it on now and founf out that I might need to trim the cod a bit. Otherwise I'm only waiting for the shins, biceps and forearms to cure, and I'm done!
  6. Hope so. Back to my build. The thigh straps are working
  7. Hmm yeah I see your point, but if I correct it now, I will have two gaping holes in my belt...
  8. Here's what I'm going to trim off. On my last TK I had a problem with the snaps popping out of the elastic strapping. Not this time!! I'm reinforcing all elastic with some webbing!
  9. How much? I thought it was supposed to follow the thick line thing at the bottom... Yeah, but I had seen a Centurion do it this way. Besides, you cant see it when its assembled And I had been thinking the thigh belt might need trimming. Good to hear another say the same
  10. Have completely forgotten this. Its supposed to sit funny, right?
  11. Cool Dont know saint Row really, but the costume looks great
  12. If possible, you might want to lower the back plate. Otherwise: Niiiiiice
  13. Well I cant really seem to accept the fact, that there really is'nt that much more I can do with the suit right now, soooo I found something I could do with it anyway As mentioned earlier, I want to cut the back of the thigs, for improved movement, and this is what I want to remove. During this "process" I also found out, that I had put the snap plate in the right thigh, in the wrong side! But thats dealt with now.
  14. Yeah I know...Pics or it didnt happen But this is all I can give right now...
  15. They are in now... you want to see pics??
  16. Well belt is done I think its safe to cut the excess of the belt now
  17. Btw, does anybody have a good picture of the inside of the belt??
  18. Was kinda aming for it hehe...and the troop this weekend But I think Rolf and Paul might be some tough guys to beat :ninja: Well I'm done sewing now, and the girlfriend is parked on the local pub for a cocktail night, so I'm free to work on the last bits. Here are the soft parts. Top is the resized belt from TM. I havent dared cut it anywhere, until I have tried it on again, and made sure its the correct size. Middle is my thigh strapping belt. Made two different kinds of thigh straps, just to be sure I have something that fits. And the bottom is the elastic for the forearms and biceps. I have decided to glue this in anyway, so it have been reinforced in each end with some webbing. I will be adding the snaps tomorrow, when I have measured with the thighs. To do list as of now: Strapping. Thats it folks
  19. Well, its been 6 days now, and as soon as the E6000 have cured, I believe its finished. To do list for tonight: Go have dinner with my Grandma...so I can borrow her sewing machine and get the belt resized Sew the straps for the thighs(elastic reinforced with webbing in each end). Attach the thigh ammo belt Finish the belt with holster. Should all be complete in about 24 hours
  20. Awesome, thanks. So this would be the correct placement on the right bicep?
  21. Well I'm at the last two pair of snap plates. The ones connecting the biceps to the forearms. But as far as I know, its not as simple as to just put them in the middle, right? Anybody got a picture of where to attach them? I know the screen used suits didnt have the snaps, but I'd like to take all the individual parts, well...apart.
