  1. So two weeks ago i got my second child and today i got my

troopermaster sweet badass awesome great epic TK armour.

It's in 1mm ABS and what i saw looked so win that i almost died instantly.

I will spam you wonderful people with Pauls epic piece of art later

today when my girls are asleep and i have time to pack it all up!

Couldn't resist to open the brown box and put on my TM ANH stunt helmet thou :D

Did i mention that i love you Paul? :D

Okay... seriously... this isn't giving it justice.

    :D:duim:

  2. How do the satin gloves feel on you? Grip, breathability, etc.

    Breathability is incredible!

    Grip?

You can hardly take them off once you have them on!

Actually they will be fine as I'm used to wearing rubber gloves with my TD; they don't fit my hands at all — I have Irish thumbs — and so it's like wearing some oversized gloves. These (i.e., the satin ones) fit great and give me a lot more control over what I can pick up.

For $14 bucks though — it was $7 for the gloves that much for shipping too — I can afford to get another pair and put some dabs of black latex on the finger tips if I need to.

Of course, if I did that, I'd have to have a 2nd pair of TM's hand plates... but that's not a big deal either.

    Hope that helps!

  3. First off, congrats on the big brown box!

I see you have a cat, they are very helpful during this process!

Jumping ahead to the gloves, the only thing that will stick to rubber gloves is silicone. So if you want Velcroâ„¢ on them you'll need to get the kind that's not got self-adhesive on it and then glue it onto the gloves with silicone. Then put the self-adhesive kind on the backs of the plates (which you already have) and you should be good to go.

MY recommendation is get a set of Karin's hand guards.

Now onto the armor... yes, be petrified.

You will probably pretty much ruin your first 2 or 3 sets completely. Don't worry. It's only money.

    And I'm kidding. :D

    You'll do great man!

    Just dive in!

I wouldn't use the 'instructions' very much.

Ralph Hinkley actually had it good when he lost the instructions. ;)

    Use the FISD instead!

Read, search, search again, read again, and ask questions!

    Looking forward to the build!
