And do one rivet on each side while working on it (after the magnets, etc.) so you can "pivot" it.
Also... remember your ears can hide numerous "oops" holes.
Of course you don't WANT that... but if you look under the ears of my old TE2 helmet you'd be like, "WHOA!"

That first post and list is so great that I added it to our MEPD Officer Training thread!

I say Velcro those bad boys. The weirdness of having the extra thickness from the Velcro doesn't look as bad as poorly fitting forearms. Heaven forbid you apply for EIB/centurion and someone tells you to trim your forearms down.... I doubt anyone would get dinged for Velcro.
Oh and Apple? Please stop capitalizing Velcro for me.
I agree with Darth on this one... Velcro is the way to go!
(and Velcro is a trademarked name, so it should be capped...)

There are a lot of good places to see the hand plates on line... my website here is one of them.
The scene where they're "cuffing" Chewie when Han is about to be frozen in carbonite is good.
As well as some other choice shots... like this one...
Basically you want to cut off most of the return all the way around and just leave a curve.
The back can go all the way up to the edge with no return.
Look at the movie though for reference over listening to anyone at all.
Good luck!
ESB = RULES!

Finally! Pics of the Blaster....
(sorry... there's been some stuff going on...)
I can — hopefully — either just make it as the last of 2011... or as the first of 2012!
-
But on the MEPD it's all dark.
-
Yes, hopefully Centurion is next!!
And yes, the glove slipped. They're the standard ESB short silk gloves.
And yes, I'll give close up pics of the blaster and "D" ring specifically.

Looks fantastic, but a bit over my range for a 2nd set of armor, that i'm literally going to dremel and make look battle worn. That's why I was asking about a damaged kit. I really don't want to ruin someone's quality hard work.
Totally understand! Good luck!!!

I'm selling my TD set right now. It not damaged, and id love to see it stay dirty, but whoever buys it could do whatever they want with it of course.
It's a fully assembled set of TE2... if you're interested check out the For Sale thread or PM me.

... but my sandtrooper kit will soon be coming in the mail.
Woo hoo!!!

I couldn't help but wonder... did you get a deal on the FBJ belt?
TK-8541 Requesting ESB Centurion Status[25][TM*]

Thanks everyone!
Thanks, brother!
And yes... it's been a long time coming.
Remember how I followed the Centurion requirements as I built the armor and so would wait till something was decided (like glueing on the sniper plate) before I did it or not.
It was worth it!
