My only thought is that if you make a button work, it will be a LIVE button. My point is, if you are out trooping and accidentally bump the music button, then you'd better be ready for a dance party regardless of where you are at.

And to answer the questions about load splitting or dividing voltage, the two fans wired in parallel will share the AMPERAGE, the voltage across a parallel circuit stays the same. If you are running 2 4AA packs, the voltage will be 12 volts across both fans. Wire the positives and negatives of the batteries together. This will keep your voltage at 6 volts, but it will double the amperage you have, thus the fans will run twice as long, if you wire positive to negative, you will put 12 volts through the fans and burn them out.

Looks great man, just one small thing. The ICN trooper should have a 5 button row instead of a 4 button.

I was at the local goodwill, I saw this blaster. It was marked for $3.00. I decided to pick it up. If for nothing else, I could use the electronics out of it. The question is.... what kind of blaster is it? I'm not familiar with this one. I know it's a Hasbro, Copyright 2004, LucasFilm LTD. Any info would greatly be appreciated.

I have this same kit, and I'm gonna have to say that would all depend on what glue's you use to hold it together. Mine is holding up nicely. Feels really firm, like its all one piece.

I thought about doing a inner barrel and spring. But I didn't have the supplies at my house. And you know how that goes.... new box of toys.... glue.... paint.... LET PUT IT TOGETHER!!! Not to mention I just had my jaw surgery no more than two weeks ago, I'm kinda limited to what I can do, and I didn't have a chance to get to the store. I bought this more as a "give me something to do while I'm stuck at home from work". Oh yeah, not to mention, it's convalescent leave so I'm getting paid for it. But I still can't go anywhere.

Ok, So I primered up the blaster. It's looking pretty good so far. I can't wait to get the finishing touches on it.

Today I got in the "new" Doopydoo's kit. So here we go.... First step, the pic of the brown box lol Upon opening the box. Nice packaging. Layout of all the parts I chose to use 5 minute fast setting epoxy. Easy to work with and holds great. I test fitted parts and pencil marked where I wanted them to line up I marked everything out, and started the building I will add more pics after I prime and paint it!!! Let me know what you think of the build so far...

Can somebody post a pic of these "webbing tabs"? I haven't seen that before. I mean, I know how to put snaps into webbing, but I haven't seen the webbing directly attached to the armor before.

I've noticed that in a lot of build pics the owner has put snaps through a piece of plastic/hips/abs/etc. Is this for a specific reason? I had used epoxy the join the armor and the snap. It came off after some pressure/pulling was applied. Does anyone know where I can buy some plastic strips to try the other method?
