  1. LOL, I would NEVER dream of cutting them in the front. I was referring to cutting them in the back.
  2. Hmm? Reading through the forums and requirements.... It's ok for centurion to have cutoff's? I would like to keep the tabs but I already glued them in place on the front. GRRR
  3. Thanks for all the help guys. I'll see what I can do tonight after work.
  4. I began my armor build, YAY! Got all the pieces cut, trimmed and glued. However, When I started running my harness straps, I noticed the white plastic shoulder straps were to long for my liking. Is there a way to shorten them? Or is it acceptable to cut them shorter? Any info is appreciated. I read over the CRL. It doesn't say anything about cutting? Shoulder Straps These must be securely mounted in front and may free float in back. They may be affixed with rivets, Velcro, or adhesive. No visible rivets are allowed. These must free float in back. These must be glued in front. Straps need to be connected to the white under strap connecting the chest/back with an elastic band.
  5. I just ordered mine. Anybody got pics of their progress with the buildup?
  6. As long as there was a D ring I don't see a problem. You can't tell much a difference after painting. And like you said, in the req. it just says "D-ring mounted on the rear." I just ordered my kit. And I'll be going for my EIB as well.
