  1. I washed all the resin pieces of the kit, and the gun had been sanded up to 1000 grit. Its still a little tacky today. I guess I will let it hang a bit longer
  2. Awesome, thanks for the reply! I was afraid I had ruined it.
  3. Hello everyone, I recently received my doopydoo kit and after gluing, painted it with some black krylon fusion. I applied many light coats about 10 or so minutes apart. I finished painting about 36 hours ago now, and the paint is still a bit tacky. It is not tacky to the point that it leaves finger prints or anything like that, but it still is not completely dry. Does anyone have any experience with this paint? It says the full cure takes 7 days. Thanks
  4. Thanks everyone!
  5. What would it take to cut them off like that? All I have that comes to mind that could maybe handle it is my Dremel or a hack saw. Thanks, Michael
  6. Hello everyone, Does anyone know what size the allen bolts need to be to fit the doopydoo muzzle? Thanks
  7. Hello everyone, I have seen pauldrons on mostly sandtroopers, but also on a couple of stormtroopers. Does anyone know what the different colors mean and if there were actually any stormtroopers wearing them on film? Thanks

Hello everyone, This is a pretty stupid question, but once you are deemed inactive, is it possible to become active again since they reserve your number?
  9. lol, for some reason the flash made them look a strange color. Since they are acceptable I think I will use them, they are my first pair (getting ready for my ATA kit) Thanks for your help!
  10. Hello everyone, I finally found some gloves, would these be acceptable? They are a perfect fit and are lined, so I hope they are good. Thanks -----------
  11. Comes to about 11 dollars with shipping. Is this reasonable? Thanks
  12. Hello everyone, I have been having trouble trying to locate some black rubber gloves. I have checked all the local dollar stores (dollar tree, dollar general) but have not been able to find any black ones, all of them are either blue or yellow. What other places should I try? I also have been looking online and the only thing I have been able to find are these---------- Thanks for the help, Michael
  13. Thanks everyone for your help!
  14. Hello everyone, I have been searching and have not been able to find a tutorial on hand painting a helmet. I will be buying tube stripes, but I want to paint all the rest on my own. Can someone point me to a tutorial or some pics that I can go by? I am mostly concerned with the "vents" or whatever they are called. Thanks for the help
  15. Nice! Hopefully mine wont take 40 days, its been 16.
  16. Thanks Brian, sent you a PM Does anyone also know where I could get some of that really thick foam to put in armor and etc.?
  17. Hello everyone, I have been trying to find black foam with no success. I have looked at Wal-Mart and they only have thick white foam in the craft section. I checked our local Michael's craft store and asked an employee where the foam was, and they sent me to where the hard foam is for plants...Do they sell soft foam? If so what section would it be in. Please tell me where I may be able to find it. Thanks, Michael
  18. They told me it should take 7-10 working days. If it has been 35 days maybe they should send you another one, seems like it may have been lost.
  19. I have been working on my Hasbro while I am waiting for the Doopydoo kit and it is going pretty good, I am having a lot of fun with it. But I am concerned about the holes I drilled on the barrel. Could you guys take a look and tell me if they would be acceptable? I didn't use anything but a dremel with the small metal sanding attachment, so it is pretty crude. Here is a picture:--------------- The hole on the far right I had to partially fill with bondo and I am still in the process of cleaning it up and fixing it. Also I need to sand them all down since it is still a little raised from the track that was there. But are the holes OK? Thanks everyone!
  20. Today would be day 6 for me, so hopefully not much longer.
  21. Thanks for the tips! This is probably a stupid question, but should I paint all the doopydoo parts and the gun separately before gluing? Or just paint it as one piece. Thanks again
  22. Hello everyone, I am trying to finish up a Hasbro E-11, and I have a quick question. I have been sanding with 100 grit sandpaper to get the bulk of the Bondo and etc. off, then following it up with 220 grit since that is the finest I have. When I go to primer this, will the primer fill in the scratches left from the 220 grit or do I need to get something finer? Also, What specific paint and primer do you guys recommend? Thanks for the help, Michael
  23. Hello everyone, Hopefully this is in the right section, since it involves the Doopydoo blaster kit. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for the kit to arrive once it has been shipped? I received the email about 4 days ago saying it had been mailed. Thanks for your help
  24. Has anyone been able to figure this out yet? The board seems simple, but I don't want to just start cutting things.
  25. Should i buy a sheet of styrene or something?
