Just found these strips via Trooperbay, does anyone know how well they match the RT-Mod armor?
Yep. Pretty darn close in the lighting of my apartment at least. Trooperbay's plastic bicep and RT mod shin in the crappy photo.

Oh, and I don't have a joke to tell, but...balls.
That'll do just fine. Bless your heart.

^thisNot sure why there is so much negativity any time someone mentions Anovos.
What happened to troopers helping troopers?

Plaaaaastic spacemen.
Costume club. Club!
Hobby.
Fun.
Making fans and kids smile by wearing costumes.
Please stop posting political opinions please, irrational or otherwise or I start banning people for a while. It has no place here on our forums. This sort of discussion is poison.
If you want to post anything more on this subject I suggest doing so on the legion forums and keep it off FISD.
Thank you.

It is just plastic. I don't see it as being much more complicated to vacuum form the pieces. There are a bunch of resin greeblie pieces but those are easy to replicate.
They should offer an option to purchase without the gaskets. Offering a full kit with the option of helmet (fiberglass or injection molded).
But all the bondo & seamless work is done by the builder. Why would that be a mark up on the producers side?
Trust us that the FO costume has way more parts and is way harder to put together than your average TK. I've done a bunch of OT TKs and I'm here to tell you that it requires way more skill (and time) that I was possibly capable of. So. Many. Parts.

Nope. I was addressing Ingrid's right hand squirrel, Ralf.
I haven't thought of what manner of minion your are when you wrangle.

A pirate walks into a bar with a big wooden ship's steering wheel down the front of his pants.
The bartender says: "Cap'n? Do you know that you have a steering wheel in your pants?"
The pirate says: "Yarrrr I know. It's driving me nuts!"

Q: Why can't you hear a pterodactyl go to the bathroom?
A: Because the "P" is silent!
This may be my 5th or 6th post encouraging more levity and way less negativity.

I'm just saying that we have no need for such negativity. It's counter productive and goes against why out forums exist. In a rare moment, Vern is right.
I'm advocating for more levity and/or balls jokes.

Well.... I don't think anyone wants to overhaul the member database any time soon. I doubt we'll see any changes to designations unless the new LCO demands it.
There are other problems with the schema of that database that costume designations are a mere blip.

It would be better if you said this and locked eye contact, but then again they can't see your eyes so kind of loses some of the magic.
I tend to lean back in relief as I do it... but leaning your bucket in toward the asker is way funnier.

When a fan asks:
"How do you go to the bathroom in that thing?"
You say:
"Ahhhh I'm going right now"

Ok... first question is.... mirror shine or not?
Second question... do we care about pockets on the cape?
I say yes to mirror... no to pockets for L1
Thoughts?

Hey Jim. It sorta depends on your proportions.
I would say that RT-MOD works for someone up to a 46 chest and 40" waist without problem.
The RT legs work well for 34" inseam. TM's shins are longer but a different color plastic.
Have you thought about doing a Vader?
And TyWebb is an imposing TD for sure. I can't wait to finish my sandie this year so we can tromp around and loom over people.
