Great idea! Thank you.

Hey folks. What is the better way to go when building a pipe E11. Should I put a spring inside so you can see it along the long thin hole on the side or make this solid? I like the look of the spring bit if I put a length of wood in there I will have something to screw the handle to. What should I do? Thanks, Rob.

Scope rail width and sight decal?
matt black replied to matt black's topic in General Weapons Discussion
Do you mean the plastic stuff of the flexable self adhesive one? I think I have some of that you could have. On another note. I found a company that prints custom dome stickers. I maight look into getting a batch of sights printed. That way the decal and glass could be all done in one go. -
Scope rail width and sight decal?
matt black replied to matt black's topic in General Weapons Discussion
I have ordered all the bits and pieces that I need. 2cm wide brass rail, see thru stones and dome stickers. Can't wait to get started now. Thanks so much again for the help. I would'nt have known this stuff was out there! I will have lots of everything left over so when it comes if anyone wants any they are welcome to them. It will save you having to buy a whole pack like me. -

Scope rail width and sight decal?
matt black replied to matt black's topic in General Weapons Discussion
Thanks very much Billy and John. I did do a bit of a search, don't know how I missed that fantastic tutorial (not enough coffee today). Thanks so much for the decal's mate. Just what I needed -
Good morning everone. Sorry in advance for asking yet more questions. Is a 1" wide scope rail acceptable on an E11 for EIB or is that too wide? Also does anyone know where I can get a decal for the rear of the scope (the cross hair one with the Star Wars writing on it). I was going to drill out the scope and put a little light in it but I can't find any glass lenses that will fit so I am going to put a decal on it and then use varnish to make it look like glass. Is that a good idea or not? Thanks for any help and have a graet weekend all of you. Rob.

Thanks Sam. I've done a bit of research and to be honest it sounds like more hassle than it's worth. I'd love to build a full metal blaster but if most of the parts will be resin then I think I'll just do the whole thing in resin. Or save up and buy a real Sterling. Thanks for help guys.

I think England has some strange laws involving gun parts being imported. I was reading a thread by a member on hear the other day and it seems I could get into a lot of trouble if I import certain parts which is a real shame because I'd love to buy that lot from you. Or even just the legal parts. I just don't know what parts those would be.

That blaster looks fantastic Jesse. I am a bit wooried about trying to import the parts into the U.K. Think I may have to go with resin. All the best.

I am getting ready to start putting together my first blaster and was wondering if anyone has any metal sterling parts they would like to sell in the U.K. It's a long shot I know but if a trooper don't ask, a trooper don't get. Also still looking for a Hengstler. Rob.

Thanks for the link Pat. I did'nt know they had scopes. Now you must find me a counter box and bring it to me MWAAAAHA HA HA ! ! !

Good morning everyone. I have decided to build a doopy doo blaster and was wondering what scope is the best to get. I can't really afford a real one and if I could I would'nt want to put it on a resin blaster anyway. Are there any resin scopes out there that are hollow to allow for sight glasses to be added? Also does anyone have any real Hengstler counters for sale? Thank you in advance for any help. Rob.

Hello and a very happy new year to you all. While I am waiting for my AP kit to arrive I have been getting everything ready to start the build. Would it be best to use a thin sheet of ABS (say like 1mm) for shimming the AB and back sections? Also, any tips on where to get some in the U.K. All the best, Rob.

Erv (Plecter Labs) insane E-11

That must have been one PAINFULL turd!!! -
Thanks for the tips ObiHahn.I did age the grip but not as much as it looks in the pics. I did'nt know that the real sterling grips were plastic so I will probably re-spray them black. Do you think that the counter being too far back will matter much or should I try to move it? Thanks again, Rob.

Well thankyou nice lady

Thanks again for the positive comments troopers. Locitus, I cut down a nail then dremmeled the cross section into the end. Then I drilled a hole in the spring section of the gun and filled it with grab adhesive then pushed the nail into it. I then covered the nail with black heat shrink tube that is for use with wiring.

WOW thanks fella's. Good to know I'm off to a good start.

Hello all. I got my blaster acouple of days ago and have done some weathering on it. Does this look o.k or is it a bit over done. I also made a couple of small mods, scope lenses, front sight, d ring. Would this blaster be acceptable for EIB when the time comes? Thank you for your time. Rob

Need advice on drilling PVC tube for E-11 build
matt black replied to Rich330's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
It looks like you could do with letting the bit free spin in those holes a bit to make them a little more circular
