Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience...and even more so that it was with someon here on FISD...I also think that I have your ANH hero glove - I bought my complete kit off someone in the garrison who couldn't complete it - and I must say they are fantastic...was looking at a D Ring but will have to wait...from what I have read you are a great person to deal with... Good luck with all your future dealings and keep your chin up...don't let one bad experience spoil it for you...

Hi all...I am building, well attempting my first TK build. A bit of back ground...I bought the whole kit - blasters, holster, lenses, armour, gloves, neck seal, the lot all I need to do is build it and get an undersuit - off a garrison member who for personal reasons wasn't able to go on with the build. He asked me if I would build the Hero as that is what he had planned. So staying true to my word I am going to build the TK ANH Hero with the intention of getting EIB. I have tackled the bucket first and I am taking my time. I have done the bulk trimming and sanding, now I am on the details eyes and teeth. My questions are: Eyes - to get the bubble lenses to fit properly and to get as accurate as possible do I need to trim more out. I think I do and I have put a pencil line there, which isn't really visible. I just dont want to take out too much and have it look strange. Teeth - Do I need to make the holes a bit larger? Do I have the tape in the right place for painting or do I need to take it further down? I want to make it as accurate as possible not only for myself but also to keep my word to the person I bought the kit from. If you questions please or if I should try and get some better photos up please let me know. Any help or tips would be great. Thanks mate...I will look for the jean rivets..if I went the chicago screws I would use some off cuts to make washers/spacers or just buy some and use some loctite to be safe.

Exactly what I was after thanks...would you have a pic showing the inside so I can see the elastic and fixings? Also, would it be necessary to put some glue or something on the outer edge not at the join between the ab & back plate to hold the elastic in place?

Hi all from Australia... I am starting my ANH TK HERO build...a bit daunting but looking forward to it. I have pretty much got everything sorted on how the parts gotogether...my only real concern is how to connect the ab and the back plate on one side to keep it flush? I am going to build so I can get EIB so how is the best way to join one side so it is flush? I was thinking of wide white eleastic then chicago screws through with the correct number of screws showing for EIB, would this work??? Any help from you other troopers would be much appreciated. Hi all from Australia I am just new here and I am just starting to put together my TK and I want to get speakers in the bucket more to the point in the hovis. I saw this ------- and I am wondering if anyone has used this system and if so what are the good/bad points? Or is there a better option available ie buying all the components sepearately and building it myself? Just be aware I am not that savy with electronics I am also worried about feedback. Can this be overcome by using a directional mic and some soundproofing foam or something behind the speakers?? Any help would be appreciated so I can plan when I put the bucket together. I am going to start my build next week and I am trying to do a few things now to save time when I get me kit. Just wondering if anyone has a lense template that they can shoot through to me so I can cut my lenses out. Or is there a better way??
