  1. Something happened today and I am now getting e-mails from White Armor. WooHoo!
  2. I'll admit I know enough to know that's what it is. The thing is it shows up when I use Firefox on my PC too.
  3. When I copy/paste into a post I get html markup coding in my posts. It happens on my iPad and desktop computers. I have tried both Safari and Firefox browsers and the problem continues. This does not happen on other sites and seems limited to whitearmor.net so far.
  4. I found this article if it helps.<br><br> <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us'>http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us</a>
  5. Same here using hotmail. However, that is also Microsoft. So, I assume live.com, outlook.com as well as the previously mentioned msn.com accounts won't work either.
  6. Where is a source for the magnets: http://www.kjmagnetics.com Here is a link to my thread where I used them if you need it for a reference. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/10787-hdtheaters-tk-buildap/?p=179838 -Eric
  7. Send me a PM with what sizes you want and I'll put them in the box with your blaster stand. -Eric
  8. You looking for single use or multiple? I can make some vinyl masks. They are use once though. -Eric
  9. Let me clarify, I have no magnets in my finished armor. I only used magnets to secure pieces as I glued with E6000. Also, mine is used only as display. I am too tall to wear the armor. -Eric
  10. I used some 5/8" x 1/8" from KJ Magnetics. Worked great for me. I forget the strength, but I could have used a little more. -Eric
  11. That is sweet! I have been needing to get some poseable hands for mine and that looks like it will solve my problem. -Eric
  12. I had the same issues with mine when I put mine together. The ears do wonders for the look of the helmet. -Eric
  13. Ok, I am not setup to so laser or silk screening. Just carving. -Eric
  14. Hi Kevin, Does it need to be an engraving? I can do most anything in wood. Feel free to PM with what you have in mind. -Eric
  15. Does it have to be metal? I can do a wooden sign that can be painted. -Eric
  16. Hey Troops, I received my Blaster and Holster this week from Vern (TK Bondservnt 2392.) They are both top notch construction. Anyone looking for a blaster, I recommend giving him a shout. I expected the blaster to be a bit lighter, more like a toy. However, the weight is just right! I am going to work on retro-fitting my troopers hands to hold the blaster and get the holster on the belt. My rivet gun jammed on me on the very last rivet for the belt. I'll need to replace that first. -Eric
  17. I would sand the primer to get good adhesion for your top coat. I would use a 400 grit, maybe 600. They make a sponge pad you can wrap the paper around. Using this will keep your finish from having ruts in it from sanding and will also curve with the contours of the armor. Just get a bucket of water and sand away. -Eric
  18. Thanks Tim, Good to know there are others close by. -Eric
  19. Its all buyer beware. Before I bought my armor, I did my searches to see what all was out there. Even doing searches through e-bay, one can tell that there are differences in the armor from the suppliers that list there. When I did my searches, I found this site and made an informed decision. -Eric
  20. Thanks! I have my blaster and holster on the way. I should get it 100% real soon. -Eric
  21. I trimmed the bottom edge on the faceplate and back to try and get my head in it. Probably not an accepted route, but there was no other choice for me. -Eric
  22. If there is a particular run that you are trying to replicate then, I vote the super glue method. If you tried to do it with paint alone, it would take a long time to dry and may not dry the way you want. Then you need to start over.
  23. The AP kit I bought had two packets on how to assemble and an additional sheet of plastic to cut the cover strips out of. That being said, I used this site for the bulk of my guidance on how I should assemble and cut the pieces. -Eric
