  1. Which one fits you best, Steve?
  2. Do we know anything more about when these were made, how and how many? Were they put together from left-over pieces of armour from ROTJ or did they dust off the moulds and strat from scratch? Were they done just before this VHS release with this tour in mind?
  3. My undersuit has a two-way zip which goes all the way down to my crotch. I unfastened the cod-to-butt connection, pushed the cod to the side and .... well ... I had just about enough room for the rest. I always thought it would be possible but this was the first time I had drank so much beer that I had to test my theory. Mmmmm! Beer! Admittedly that was a bit of artistic license. I've seen it on tour suits but not in ROTJ.
  4. They've dressed the stormtroopers reasonably well. Doesn't always go without saying. Look at where Vader has his chest box!
  5. A member of the Spanish Garrison has just posted these on our forum. I thought they were really interesting. They're from promotional events from the time when the original trilogy cam out on VHS (the digitally re-mastered versions at the end of the 90's I presume). Some cool shots of what can only be LFL tour suits. If I've understodd correctly, what we are looking at are suits which were made long after the filming of ROTJ, and specifically for promotional activities, but using the original ROTJ moulds. Very cool!-----
  6. Endor/Death Star makes just as much sense to me as hero/stunt. The important thing is to recognise that there are two distinct versions.
  7. LOL You couldn't speak/write German that bad even if you tried!
  8. Well, we've definitely given the poor chap quite a roasting now.
  9. Röstung? Armour made of Swiss Rösti?
  10. Interesting user name ("koningdennis"). Not going to be "koning" anyone on here, Dennis! For what it's worth, I think the seller seems honest enough. The photos of the FX armour are obviously what he has in his posession. The stock Rubies photo has been "borrowed" to show you what the armour will (not) look like when assembled. He obviously bought and started to build a kit and has now given up on the idea. Probably a smart move; he really should invest more time in learning how to write proper German.
  11. Surely that should be "Elvis boots"!
  12. I still shudder when I think back at how close I got to buying from Jedi (rectal p)Robe.
  13. Thanks, Stefan. It was excellent timing on Mathias's part. He asked me for some photos just as I was finishing some running repairs and modifications on the armour ready for the last day of carnaval. I also discovered that I can take a pee whilst wearing my armour so I could drink all the beer I wanted ....
  14. Cracking photos, mate. Nice build too. I really like the RS in PVC.
