I agree, Don't put those sweet parts on a toy, those are not for a toy that is the good stuff, here is what I did with a similar set of Sterling parts I built this for my Stealth trooper armor!!! I Chromed the Sterling parts and put them on a Resin body, all sterling except for the barrel. Ps Vern did you get my PMs about cylinders?? Was worried. Check out this Blaster!!! AL

Hi Terry, The left ab area has permanent rivets and the right is permanent on the back side and goes to velcro closer with fake rivets on the front edge. Thanks for the thumbs up!!!! Very happy, and by far the most comfy armor I have. AL

I also just made mine off that templet, I used some copper tubing from Lowes Home improvement,Lowes has the correct size Home depot doesn't. They have copper caps as well that I cut down and some small nuts and bolts from local hobby store. The holder I made out of some thin sheet metal, tin snips and CA Glue!! They look pretty good!! JUST GOT MY FIRST PAIR OF TK BOOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!SWEET!!!!!!!!!! I have 2 events tomorrow can't wait to wear them!!!! Sooooo much better than my old Caboots, Hey and they don't smell!!! They smell like leather!! I wear a 8.5 and got the 9's just to be safe,but might have been good with a 8 but since I've been trooping in a pair of Caboots size 10, I'm doing way better. AL

Hi ALL, Well I am Finished with my Stealth Armor And did a trial dress today, the wife took some pics, our first attempt at shooting black armor, all we have shot is the white stuff so they came out OK, I will shoot some more tomorrow with more light so you can see the details better.I am super happy with it, just a few pieces to sand and grind but all in all pretty sweet build. Only took me a week, I have it down, pretty much. The armor is some stuff I found from a guy in the UK, friend of a friend, But after contacting everyone about pulling some gloss black ABS, with no luck I was desperate to find a set. This came trimmed but needed lots of clean up, it also had a plastic film on it so after you trimmed and sanded you remove the film and it is mirror gloss black. It is a material I haven't seen before its not crisp, or hard it is very flexible, almost like you can't break it, but I'm not going to try. Also some of the pieces did not seem to be very sharp pulls, like the shoulder straps and AB bits, but Just to have a full set of Gloss black Armor, is awesome, Check the pics, and I will put some more up with better light tomorrow!! Also the boots I scored are a Patent Leather Jodpher (spelling?) It is a women's riding boot, I fit in a size 11, I am a mens 9. The boot has all the correct lines for a trooper boot. Hey there, I fought it when I came over here a couple of weeks ago that and the holster, but now thinking about it, I really want EIB status so I've put power cylinders on my blasters and my Counters are on their way, plus it's fun to add stuff!! The holster I can make to come off so no big deal !! That screen grab above says it all that was a hero shot in the film so they put the cool blasters in those troopers hands, those guys must be EIB!! Anyway give it week or so to kick in you'll be dressing out your blaster soon enough! And after my WTB post last night I'll have an extra resin counter I'll give you, there your on your way!! AL
