  1. Looks good Rolf! I trooped with one of those DLT-19's that I borrowed from Acima last weekend in Oslo. It gets a bit heavy after a while, but it stood up really well to trooping at a crowded event. So it got it's fair share of bumps and the only thing that was noticeable was some of the paint rubbed off and showed the white-ish polyurethane it's casted from. And that only added some nice weathering to my armour anyways, so I didn't mind.
  2. Don't read the manual that came with the kit. Read this forum instead. It's a lot better, I promise!
  3. Need to make new bicep hooks myself.
  4. I'm just going to add that we added the DLT-19 T-tracks in this formation. What else did you expect?
  5. Practical? You lost a screw and had to remove a bracket on your first troop with NG. Shall we get back on topic now?
  6. The feeling of real armour cannot be had with the 1mm imo. Even if it is pretty.
  7. There are many good thread on this. Here's one for example. The TM lid is no different except you don't need to paint the whole helmet. -
  8. "Once you were but a learner, now you are the master."
  9. The thickness of the black line looks great to me!
  10. You can go centurion with any maker really, and any TM version. I have the 2 mm version for example. It's more about personal preference. I like the ruggedness of my 2mm. I can kick it around on the floor without risk of breaking it. But I think you can do that with all the TM versions. It's high quality stuff!
  11. 15 mm on the arms. 20 mm on the legs, except for the back of the shins, where you can go 25 mm to cover the opening a little better.
  12. That's no AM helmet. It's RT-MOD. Read it again.
  13. Happy birthday Mason!
  14. Did you search the forum for it?
  15. TKboots are leather, not vinyl, so those should be easier to paint.
  16. Yeah I got most of my magnets out off old SCSI server grade hard drives. Must have been around 10 000 USD worth of hard drives back in the day. It's good to work in IT.
  17. Just google "lexan scissors" and find an online shop of your choice. Ebay is full of them: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=lexan+scissors+&_cqr=true&_nkwusc=lexan+scissors&_rdc=1 Or is it just funnier to create useless topics here instead?
  18. Why not just wait until you have the brackets and then measure the distance between the holes in the brackets?
  19. The originals has the numbers 1095 printed on the inside of the shaft. Now go search ebay.
  20. It would drive up the prices of the boots. Same thing happened at photo shops when they learned that it was old graflex camera flashes that were used as lightsabres.
