Almost ready to paint the other one next!

Well here it goes! I'm doing two helmets at once! The one with the Hovi's and tighter pull is from a good friend CAP, or "weiBes" on FISD. The second one is a VT or "Vacuum_This". Although its a soft pull, its still very nice. I ordered decals through Trooperdecals.com and they just need to arrive. Here we go with the pictures! Left: CAP "weiBes", and Right: VT Primed About to be painted! I wanted to test out the glossy paint on something first before I painted the helmet... Here is the primer and Paint I used.. They work well together! GOT ONE of the Helmets Painted! Its very Shiny!

I know!!!!!!!!! Its way shinier (?) than my ABS FX bucket . I'm following the TE2 Stunt Buildup as well as yours (Smitty).

Thats what I'm using on both of my new ANH helmets. One is done drying and looks soooo Shiny!!!!!!

Welcome to the FSID! There is only 1 version of the AP armor from my understanding. Its the stunt version. Although I have seen some modified AP helmets to look like the Hero version. One FISD member "Gundamzeppelin" has a thread with a modded AP.

I'm using Safari on my Mac and it happens occasionally.

As a fairly skinny guy [120 lbs., 5'11] The FX is pretty big around the thighs and pretty much everywhere except the Thermal Detonator.

I agree, $200 for a BELT! haha. There HAS to be someone on this forum that makes these for cheap!

I agree with the FX, I thought it was the most perfect set of TK armor out there, thats why i bought it.. But after joining the FSID, I looked at everything differently. First I thought SDS were the most screen accurate you can get, then i saw a TE, then a TM!! :) THANKS FSID!

Funny, I just found 7 original Atari 2600 game consoles that are unopened in my attic while i was putting Christmas stuff away. LOL. I wonder if i have any Star Wars props up there!.....I can always hope..

About the possibility of driving a car while wearing armor, i wounldnt recommend it. If you do, don't wear your helmet.
