  1. 5' 8" and 185 here I used the trim lines and left the return edge on. I followed stukatrooper's build and had very few issue during my 3 months of building the kit. I used E6000 to join the legs and arm sections. I posted questions and took photo examples as I went along for others to critique and assist me in my build. So glad i did application process went very quick and smooth without issues. Good Luck on your own adventure.....lots of help here if you ask for it.
  2. Can anyone point me in a direction to get replacement shoulder straps for my AP armor. Also looking for a better more durable fix for them. I have glued with E6000 to the upper front chest and using velcro to lay over the back plate. I did shape them with heat gun prior to gluing them. The plastic bends the wrong direction at times when I am wearing and the plastic is starting to crack, breaking is going to happen with more usage and wear. Does anyone know what I am trying to describe and maybe offer solution, at minimum I will need replacement pieces for each one of the shoulder straps. Help?? thanks in advance.

  9. I can not hear very well with the lid on....hehehe I feel really good in my armor, can travel just fine, stairs no problems, I cut out a small amount behind the knees to allow for enough bend for walking and such. I took some video at the local mall it on Youtube, user name is: SalmonJedi65 The forearms do give me trooper bites, but from what I read here at FISD we all get them to some degree. Getting ready to go to Anchorage on my first official troop, the star wars exhibit kicks off at the museum there: http://www.adn.com/front/story/1127718.html (check out the comments on the page, looks like some trooper TK9234 likes the idea of trooping?)
  10. yes, agreed...I used 15m for the arms and 20mm for the legs. I measured twice and glued one time.
  11. I basically followed Stuka's AP build, I found magnets, clothes pins along with different sizes of clamps very handy. I used E6000 adhesive on all the parts. I cut the strips first. I made them each a little longer than needed and sanded excess after it was finished. Lined up butted ends prior to any adhesive being open, check and double check then glue. Try to get a good line up prior to glue. I glued inside strips on first (24 hours between) butted pieces glued, and then the outside strip each piece took 4 days. If I had more clamps I could have done it quicker.
  12. The photoshop edits are awesome!! very nice indeed!
