As I put the finishing touches on the finer points of my costume, such as buttons, I now am looking for the right way to secure my holster that just arrived today! If I am not mistaken, it is two rivets to secure a stunt, and four for a hero. Since I am doing stunt, I was lucky to find two of these in my house! They are double sided, so I just wanted to ask you guys which side is more acceptable for EIB before I go ahead and make some holes.

If I DID have to assemble a helmet, AP would be my first choice. It's $199 for the kit, right?

Well, my MRCE is just about finished, and although I am satisfied with it, I can't help but feel I'll always be envious of more screen-accurate helmets. However, the reason I got the MRCE in the first place was simply because it was pre-assembled! Can you guys recommend some, if any, good helmets that you don't have to put together yourself? And it's not that I'm lazy...just bad with my hands

I'm using a turtleneck for now, just looking for a good place to buy neckseals from. I see many TKs in the 501st with back AB buttons, so I'm using them for now. Again, I must stress I am looking for the minimal requirements, THEN screen accuracy after I am in the 501st. About the shins and the arms, I am actually going to be gluing them today, I think it will look much nicer than velcro Boots are being ordered as we speak, but still looking for a good place to get an E-11 and Holster. From an armor perspective, I am trying to limit the amount of trimming I have to do. That being said, I may be trimming the chest piece a bit somewhere down the line, and just use foam to help secure bigger pieces like the shins and arms. Yes, I still need boots, but I'm trying to find the cheapest ones possible Other than that, I'm looking for a good E-11 that I don't have to assemble, and a holster. From there on, who knows what the galaxy holds!

I apologize if I am posting in the wrong section. So I finally got my MRCE bucket today (thanks Obeivon) and decided it was time to take some pictures of my WIP FX Armor! I am not going for EIB or anything like that. To be honest, all I'm looking for is to meet the bare requirements to make it into the 501st After that I can start worrying about sprucing up my armor to the fullest. I apologize in advance, but I'm pretty sure most of these are sideways, lol. I am, for better or worse, very skinny, so some of the armor may seem awkward on me. So there it is! I'm just trying to make the 501st at this point. Please tell me I am on the right track!

Dave's Garage appears to be a spectacular series, however, he does do a lot of mods to his armor that I'd rather not get in to, as I am a beginner, and not everything has been covered as of yet in his tutorials.

Hello all, I just received my FX Kit the other day! Sweet! However, the stupid thing came without a guide or anything, so while I know more or less how I want to put it all together, I cannot identify which pieces go where. Are there any guides on this at all?

I thought the video games such as Battlefront were considered canon. After all, that's where they decided to include the 501st Legion.

So could this rank not be applied to other trooper types as well?
