  1. Congrats you guys!! And maybe the submission pics? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Definitely! When Renee did wear my extra TK Bucket there was certainly a Bobble-Head look about her, but she had to have a bucket!! Soon enough we'll have Kev's. Like I said, this new style lid will probably just take some getting used to for folks. Also, I didn't see it mentioned here, but I just noticed the JG armor in the Legion Spotlight. Not specifically this... just that one of the Ladies of the Russian Outpost wore it for the first Russian ComiCon, and Mary Franklin was even on hand! I'm sure she already saw this armor in Person with Kev and Mike as surely it was worn by Stacey, Liz, and/or Vamp, but I just did a double take this evening when I saw it. Probably old news... - Berbs
  3. As for what the gals get, it'll be a mix, I'm sure. There are those who think the SDCC Boots are too "high-heeled" despite being pretty darn spot on to the statue. My wife however, loves those boots and is greatly anticipating the approval of the kits to come down. Whatever the end result is, I do hope they cover both versions (Comic and Statue), whether that's through multiple CRLs as was suggested, through different Tiers/Levels (Basic/EIB/Centurion) or some combination. For instance, when we've shown folks pics of what the Helmet will look like once my wife gets hers, they say she should also be able to wear a standard TK bucket for basic approval; something I don't think is needed. I think it'll just take them some time to get used to a slightly different TK Bucket. - Berbs
  4. So you finally got feedback on requested revisions?!? Sweet! Sounds like Progress!! Looking forward to that CRL being posted! - Berbs
  5. And a Domino Mash-Up?!? Nice! The Armor Looks GREAT!! - Berbs
  6. Just Curious: Is there by chance a place that we can track this discussion their having as well? Or is it only for the Council (or Officers or Staff or something) to see? Thanks! - Berban
  7. We ended up using some rare earth Magnets to mount the TD. Just in case someone bumps it while walking behind Renee.
  8. And thank you all for the compliments!! I'll pass them on to 'Nee!! - Berbs
  9. Looking forward to seeing that!! Hopefully, things change in the next few months, and we can go. We shall see....
  10. Can't afford the Gistang Bucket just yet, but we debuted my wife's armor at Alamo City ComiCon last weekend and it was a hit!! It was essentially a test run, and while a lot of folks in our Squad knew she had it, we were keeping the build under wraps. We followed the others that were posted, and that was very helpful, and I'm sure she'll still round up all the pictures we took during the build into a thread of her own. But here's a few pics from the Con (where we even debuted some Wookies!! Meru Meru and Salporin): - Berbs
  11. I feel like the bottom of the back needs to be trimmed a little. In other words where the ABS starts to curve back out and away from the bucket. Not sure if it's necessary... That may just be me. - Berbs
  12. Looking Great! - Berbs
  13. Right on!!! I really love the MTK Bucket... It's a great match for my AM/NE Armor!! - Berbs
  14. Yeah, I know!! Considering it's basically DONE!! The only thing I THINK I need to apply for EIB and Centurion is an Accurate Blaster! (And then to address whatever I have incorrect - hopefully not a whole lot of things!!) - Berbs
  15. Here's what he wrote on Facebook earlier this month: I love my MTK Bucket!! It goes perfectly with my AM/NE/AM2.0 Armor!! - Berbs
  16. Nice! It's seems so "narrow", but I'm guessing that's the last two pics, and the lack of ears, which I'm guessing will still be added separately? Cannot wait for the end result!! - Berbs
  17. PM Sent!
  18. Psst!!! Hey! What's the word on the CRL?!? Who's reviewing it? Any feedback as yet?? Anxiously awaiting... - Berbs
  19. I suppose the removal of the Adam's Apple bit would work too. - Berbs
  20. I figure Kev's forthcoming bucket would suffice for a Level 3 "Centurion" certification, but perhaps any TK bucket would work for the Level 1 basic approval? - Berbs
  21. Also, Here's the connectors they used for the TD... More pics here!! (Kev linked to these in the Interest Thread) - Berbs
  22. Hey, Jason! Where did y'all end up finding the compression top? Thanks! - Berbs
  23. These pics will be extremely helpful!! - Berbs
