  1. Thanks for the quick feedback!! 1. Yes, the shoulder bridges are velcroed, maybe they were a bit off the day I took the pictures. 2. Yes I am using black elastics to join the shoulder bells with the biceps. Do you need a pic? 3. Initially I had elastics there, but generally I don't use them because it got too rigid and sometimes the abs plate mounted the chest plate. Is it a requirement for EIB? I can attach them and send new pics. 4. The side gaps are filled with non-permanent plastic pieces that are attached with snaps. Now that you mention it they look a bit off. I will add some velcro to keep them in place since the snaps are only on the top and it rotates a bit. 5. Will take the picture with the lamp. There is no mesh behind the teeth, I thought the ones in the movies didn't have one and I preferred not to have it, but can add it no problem if it is required. 6. You are right, they are misaligned in the picture because I didn't attach them correctly. Sorry about that. I will take new pictures and submit. 7. Will take a picture of that. 8. Will take a picture of that.
  2. Hello all. I think I am the first one in the Spanish Garrison requesting EIB status. The armor is an AP. First, here are some general pictures: Detailed pictures of the helmet: The tusks are cast hovi-mix tips by stomper: Back-light picture to show that the lenses are flat and green: Detail of the Buttons: Nomex flight gloves: The Blaster is made with a PVC pipe and resin pieces bought from doopydoos Canvas belt: The boots are those ones that claimed that part of the benefits were for building water wells for children in Vietnam or something like that. Neckseal detail: Two more pictures:
  3. I'm also interested in seeing those pictures!
  4. Some possible future member of the Spanish Garrison has posted this pictures of the helmet he just got. It looks a bit weird to me, or is it just the odd painting?. Does anyone know what kind of helmet it is? He got it with a second hand armor so he doesn't know its exact origins. ------------
  5. Congratulations Smitty! You have done an incredible job there
  6. You are doing a great job there! Please share the pepacura model when you are done so we can all have an unlimited supply of paper helmets! :D :D
  7. That mannequin looks fantastic Tim. I should work in one for myself at some point.
  8. I just have to replace the aerators with accurate ones, stick the hengstler to the blaster and close the side gaps. I should be ready very soon!

  10. A friend from the UK has received it today from play.com and this is what he got (he is also into Roman re-enactment as you can see ) : ------------ Looks quite nice. Do you know if it is good enough to enter the 501st? My friend is wondering that.
  11. I cutted about 1 centimetre all around the bottom part and it looks perfect. Now it is much easier to get my ears and my "little" nose into it You could probably cut even more depending on your needs.
  12. Thanks Alain!
  13. Confirmed. It works in my Linux machine!
  14. Actually what this does is to connect to a terminal (telnet) server in the netherlands, so in theory it should work in any O.S.
  15. Can someone post pictures of the hand plates? I don't know exactly where to trim. Thanks
  16. That's exactly what I needed. Thank you very much!
  17. Hi, Does anyone know which is the right tones for the grey and blue paint in some of the brands that are available in europe? I am thinking in Humbrol, Tamiya, or even the Games Workshop paint.
  18. I also think this should be reconsidered and the Hengstler be made optional. Many of the blasters in ANH do not have it and I don't think they are production errors but they were made deliberately that way. On a personal side, if I could choose I prefer it without the counter, to me it looks like a bulky glued add-on.
  19. Great looking trooper! I can't wait to have mine.
