  1. Hello. My name is Mário and I am writing to you from Portugal, specifically from São Brás de Alportel, a village in the Algarve hinterland. I have been a member of the Legion since 2017, but only now have I decided to move forward with a stormtrooper, in this case, an Incinerator Trooper (so far, I had a Darth Nihilus, an Officer, and a Tusken). The armor has already been approved, so I am now discovering the forum and decided, in any case, to introduce myself here. A hug to everyone and if one day you want to visit the Algarve, be sure to let me know. There are plenty of reasons to visit us.

  3. Hello. Thank you for the response and for the welcome. Regarding the trooper, it is already done and approved. Hola. I have roots in Aveiro. Northern Portugal is indeed a fantastic area. I have been to the TDs in Seville and Córdoba. I usually participate in some missions here with my friends from Huelva, since it's just a little over an hour from where I live. I will try to go to Madrid as the TD are always special events and I have great memories of those two I went to.

  6. As I am essentially done with the limbs and torso, I’m starting to go in too many directions about all the things that remain, picking at the belt and helmet for instance, but have wanted to keep this build thread more ordered and focused. The punch list for what I’ve done so far is: For the thermal detonator, I still need to bend the clips on the back side. But having followed ukswrath’s guide, I’m finding that the part that goes under the belt is 4” long, which seems too long. Even after the bend, they seem too long. Not sure whether I should trim them so they don’t stick out from underneath the belt (as stated in the CRL). Fit the shoulder bridges. I’m still having trouble with this. I don’t have the right curve yet, and with the armor on, I will need to have a second person help me with fitting and reshaping. Attach elastic to the shoulder straps to hold down the backs of the shoulder bridges. Figure out how to hold up the thighs. I’ve seen several posts on this. I’ve also seen something about ‘X’-style suspenders, but I’m not sure if those are meant to hold up the thighs, the torso, or both. Put in the snaps on the cod and butt plate. Put in the “Han” snap on the upper right of the ab plate. Cover the left side ab-to-kidney rivets on the inside with silicone or something equally smoothing. Make some ABS paste and clean up the back bottom of the right thigh. Having trouble finding such a small amount of acetone, since they sell them in quarts/liters at my hardware store. Paint tops of all rivets. So I guess I use the term “essentially done” quite loosely! Once I have a better path forward on this, I’ll want to post more questions about what remains.

  9. Hello Troopers! This month we are looking for your most colourful pictures to be shared on our Socials! Of course I’m talking about celebrating Pride Month in June. Please send me pictures of you and your fellow troopers marching in parades, dressed in colourful flags or otherwise showing your support for the LGBTQ+ community. You can either submit the pictures here in the forum thread, in a DM to me, or by sending me an email at 501tk66744 @gmail.com (remove the space before the @). Don’t forget to share your TK-ID(s), Garrison name and – if applicable – the photographer’s credit. You can submit your pictures until the 29th of May. I’m looking forward to seeing your pictures!

  12. I think the shims are done. I might go back and use the ABS slurry to try and make it seamless, but as EI doesn't require it, I'm going to move on to the next step. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
