What do you mean by JK?

Just kidding? or are those your initials?

Sorry. I haven't had time to make a real sig line yet. The other forum I haunt doesn't allow them. JK for my initials. I am not too worried about my arms and legs: They are muscular but not too large. My mid-section is larger. Comes with Cushing's I suppose...

As plum, pear shaped trooper, the shims and some sit ups help.

A heat gun could be your friend too.

Not sure how big you are but I'm 6'2 and 235lbs. All of my new AP fits me like a glove. I left a little room in all the pieces when I trimmed it but for the most part used the standard sized strips to close them all up. The only shimming I did was about 3 inches on the side gaps to close them up for EIB status and on the thighs but I have a pretty athletic build and my thighs have always been big. I can't wear pleated dress pants unless they are athletic cut. Hopes this gives you some perspective. I will have my armor done this week and will have pics up shortly.

I'm 1,83 meters and about 100 kg right now, so yeah, bordering on fat. ;) And I still fit into my screen accurate ANH TK. It sure looks bulky but can be pulled off.

I used covering strips for all the seams visible on the front view with measurements true to what stukatroopers' flickr tutorial suggested and went with broader covering strips for the rear seams. And I had to shim the side gaps, but only about 5cm on each side.

Here's how it looks compared to a skinny 1977 trooper:

You give me hope! Thanks!
