joebee[TK] Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago My old TK eventually had a lot of stretch in the shoulder elastic, causing the shoulder bells to sag out from the body. Didn't love it! Does anyone have any recommendations or specific links for a really heavy duty elastic that will hold its form and strength for those front to back shoulder connections? Or ideas of how to retain the strength over time as much as possible? Quote
Clonecollector[TK] Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Hey Joe! You could double up the shoulder elastic. Sew the ends together and pop the snaps through the doubled up elastic. Its economical and should hold up for a long while. (I originally did that, although I've since swapped out to some made by trooper master) Quote
revlimiter[Staff] Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I sewed some nylon strapping into the inside edge of my shoulder straps and it helped a ton. It's totally hidden by the plastic bridges. No black can be seen when wearing it. Very novice hand sewing. I also added E6000 to the void areas. It's very strong and can't get stretched out of shape anymore. The shoulder alignment results! They're always perfect now. 1 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted 16 minutes ago Report Posted 16 minutes ago You could use velcro or nylon if you want them to always stay the same gaps, I do like some flex though especially when moving about so I use doubled over elastic, it's quite tight. Quote
