Holster advice

One of our applicants has submitted a holster with black straps (visible side showing black)  connected to the belt. The CRL and most screenshots show the raw leather side. Would it still be acceptable for basic clearance to keep the black straps as they are or would you say its required to see raw leather side of the straps on the outside? Just want to be sure as I always assume the straps need to show the leather side. 

 

Any help from FISD staff is appreciated.

Personally for basic I would think they should be ok, bottom left of this reference shows black side facing out

For basic I would agree with Glen. The CRL doesn't make any mention of the colour of the straps only

For Level 2/3 we have generally standardised on the brown suede side visible but at the same time CRL doesn't actually say it has to be black. So more of a DO discretion there, but the image is brown and the Images are to be taken into account.

Thank you Chris. Its one of those small details that got me stuck as to whats acceptable or not. Because we have approved the leather out side (as that was always how each TK submitted their costumes), I got stumped if the black side out was okay. Going to have some fun pouring over screenshots again to look for the black side out TKs.
