Wraith08 Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Hello Im Simon from the UK im currently looking into getting my first set of armour and the various different options. Can I ask what the fit of the first order stormtrooper suits are like from Denuo Novo if I got a ready to wear? Would it be 501st ready or would it need alot of adjustment therefore better to get a kit that I will need to trim? Also struggling to decide between ESB Hero, Shadow trooper or TLJ First order armour. Any help and advice would be greatly recieved and appreciated! Cheers Simon Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Can't say I've seen a complete ready to wear DN set of armor so can't comment on that. There is no ESB Hero, albeit helmets from ANH had been used in ESB so you could see Hero or Stun variants. Shadow trooper you would need to visit Spec Ops forum https://specops501st.com/ OT Stormtrooper info here FO Stormtrooper info here Quote
Doggydoc[Staff] Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 If I recall correctly, the denuo novo FOTK will come with a connection at the shoulder of the yoke. There is no seam allowed here, so it would need to be modified to be approved. As with Glen though, I have not seen a ready to wear kit. There could also be other areas that would need to be fixed. my advice on which kit to go with is pick the one that means more to you. You may accumulate more kits down the road but your first will always be the most special. being a member of both spec ops and FISD, both detachment are full of great people who will be very helpful along your journey. 1 Quote

Cheers Simon Denuo Novo ready-to-wear First Order armour can still need adjustments, as it’s made for a specific body type. For 501st approval, many troopers prefer a trim-yourself kit so they can get a better fit and meet CRL standards. Quote
