Palmhall Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 (edited) Hi everyone, my name is Chris. I’m 61 years old, 5’9” 187 pounds. My backstory is I built an FX kit in 2012/13 and I’ve had fun trooping it and what not. But I wanted to get serious and join a Garrison, so I purchased this ready to wear Kit from Denuo Novo. I put quite a bit of time and effort into it to fit my body size. How does it look? Any help is good help. I’m waiting to hear back from my GML. Thank you very much. Chris. Wompet[TK] Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 At a quick glance, it looks good for basic approval to me; but l’m going to leave detailed feedback to the experts. When you say that you lost contact with your GML, do you mean you’ve been communicating during your refitting of the costume, and he’s not replying anymore; or you sent your submission pictures a month ago and haven’t heard from him yet? When I first joined our GML at the time was terrible at communicating anything. I waited almost two months after submitting my TK to write to our GXO (who I had trooped with) to find out what was going on with my submission. Quote
Palmhall Posted January 23 Author Report Posted January 23 Hi, I had sent preliminary pics after what I thought was a good fitting, and he asked for helmet off pics, which I sent the next day. I have not had any contact after his request, I’ve reached out several times also. I understand it’s all volunteer, and life gets in the way. I’m actually a bit worried about him, because he was so diligent replying. But thank you, I’m sure it will work itself out. 1 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Looking good although it's a little hard to see some details as the photos are very small in resolution, your GML will require higher resolution. Info on adding images and sizes Thread on backgrounds If you look at your sides apart from the big gap your kidney is angled backwards. One way to reduce this gap is adding side shims Foam behind the sniper plate can help hold it out away from the bottom of your thigh, so it doesn't catch when walking. Note it's under your thigh ridge in the photo above. Quote
