Help Needed: 2MB Photo Limit for EIB Application

Hello troopers,

I’m working toward submitting my Expert Infantry (EI) application and could use a bit of help from the community. I’ve taken all the required photos for EI (front, back, sides, helmet off, etc.) and I’m excited to get this submitted. However, I’ve hit a snag with the photo uploading process.

It turns out the forum has a 2MB total attachment limit for the entire post (I originally thought it was 2MB per photo). Because of this, I can only upload one high-resolution photo before I max out the limit. Naturally, one photo isn’t enough to show all the required details for EI. I’m a bit confused and not sure how to get all my images uploaded given this restriction.

I tried to work around the issue by posting a link to my WIP (Work In Progress) thread, thinking that might allow me to share the photos indirectly. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if that’s the right approach or if I even did it correctly. The last thing I want is to do something against the guidelines or make it harder for the DOs to review my submission.

At this point, I feel a bit stuck (and a little silly 😅). I might need an “idiot’s guide” on how to proceed with uploading my photos for the EI application. If there’s a step by step process or any tips you can share (like using an image hosting site or another method), I would be incredibly grateful. Please assume I know very little about the best way to do this on the FISD forums, any guidance or advice is welcome!

Many of us use a free online image host Imgur, here is a great how to guide. Make an account, upload your photos then copy the links to each of the photos and paste them into your application.
