gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted May 2, 2025 Report Posted May 2, 2025 File-Name: 501st Coasters Designer: Kawa Last Update: May 2nd 2025 File-URL: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1376788-501st-legion-star-wars-coaster#profileId-1424417 Description: The 501st Legion is an international organization of passionate Star Wars fans, specifically dedicated to building accurate replicas of the armor of the Imperial forces (Stormtroopers, Sith, Clone troopers, bounty hunters, and other "villains" from the Star Wars universe). The 501st Legion, nicknamed Vader's Fist, is made up entirely of volunteers. Founded in August 1997 in South Carolina by Albin Johnson and Tom Crews, the legion has approximately 10,000 active members worldwide, with chapters on 6 continents, in over sixty countries. Members of the 501st Legion frequently appear at promotional and charity events. On March 17, 2005, the father of the saga George Lucas became an "honorary member"[2] of the fandom and the international group was officially recognized by Lucasfilm at an image level, following its demonstrated loyalty in the accurate replication of the costumes and the incredible potential in participating in the most important events, including the Star Wars Celebration. After the international success of the 501st Legion, in 2000, always in the United States, the counterpart dedicated to the costumes of "rebel" characters (including: Jedi, Senators and Tributaries) was founded, namely the Rebel Legion. As a Star Wars fan and a fan of these guys, this is my little tribute! Don't miss it! Terms of Use: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/ Images: 1 Quote
themaninthesuitcase[Admin] Posted May 3, 2025 Report Posted May 3, 2025 Ooh I should have all the colours for this one. Quote
themaninthesuitcase[Admin] Posted May 11, 2025 Report Posted May 11, 2025 Made one of my Bambu P1S. This is all Bambu PLA as I happened to have the right colours. Normally I back coasters with some adhesive backed EVA but I'd not yet gotten round to it on this one. Quote
