In addition to posting questions and build updates on the forum (highly encouraged), being in touch with your local garrison is also helpful. If you are not familiar, there are two garrisons in Indiana, and those are the Bloodfin Garrison and the Northern Darkness Garrison. Bloodfin is in the central and southern thirds of the state, whereas Northern Darkness is the northern third of the state. The dividing line between the two is based on the county one lives in, and Northern Darkness lists the counties on their homepage (if you are not in those counties, then you are in Bloodfin's territory). The Bloodfin Garrison website: https://www.bloodfingarrison.com/ The Northern Darkness Garrison website: http://www.ndgarrison.com/ I am in the Bloodfin Garrison, and FISD's Imperial Attaché for Bloodfin, so I can be of assistance to you if you would like. Although I have not built a sandtrooper, there are similarities in build construction between a sandtrooper and stormtrooper! Bloodfin also has a few sandtroopers, so we have local knowledge of the requirements of MEPD (the detachment for sandtroopers). My own armor is Walt's Trooper Factory, but as others have said, the kits from other makers may be more accurate for sandtroopers.
