ChaoticAmanin
Has anyone done this one...and if so, do any of the currently-available bubble lenses fit in it? https://www.etsy.com/listing/1201710863/rogue-one-tk-helmet-stl?click_key=34ec71ae913b32380fe430a490da294e33ab2428%3A1201710863&click_sum=a3b3e6f7&ref=shop_home_feat_3
gmrhodes13[Staff]
Doesn't come up in a forum search or the R1 resources thread I'm no R1 expert by any means but appears to have a lot of details which aren't offered on a lot of other 3D prints, even the use of rubber trim for the brow. Here is their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Printarmory Their regular Stormtrooper helmet looks like it could do with a lot of modifications but reading some of the comments appears they do try to correct anything pointed out to them. TK 17654[TK]
How would you see through a printed lens? I’m fine being ignorant on this but I can’t comprehend it with my limited knowledge
ChaoticAmanin
While they do make transparent/translucent filament, these are too thick and I assume the printed lenses are so you can shape acrylic or similar. I was just wondering if any existing lenses exist or if I have to teach myself how to melt and shape stuff. My wife won't be happy if I ooze acrylic all over the oven

It's quite easy to make two square frames to hold a piece of plastic, heat then pull over a mold, pretty basic vac forming but it does work. A little like what Jeff has done
