Former LMO, SpecOps DL, Garrison Titan member, holder of the most FISD EIB Awards and all-around nice guy Todd Maxfield-Matsumoto & other R2 builders in my garrison & the Pacific Northwest made it to the cover of the SeattleTimes today.

Taka Maxfield-Matsumoto, 15, from left, his father, Todd Maxfield-Matsumoto, and brothers Kenji Maxfield-Matsumoto, 11, and Strummer Maxfield-Matsumoto, 9, of Tukwila, built these “Star Wars” droids. The Maxfield-Matsumotos are part of the Pacific Northwest R2 Builders Club. “They just kind of speak to you as a character,” Todd Maxfield-Matsumoto says. (Erika Schultz / The Seattle Times)

Talk about dreaming a dream and a lesson that persistence pays off - way to go!

It's scary just thinking about the money spent sitting there across those six Droids!
