He bought a MonCal/Faraway Creations TK kit, and we're curious- is it possible to modify a vacuformed kit to the Rogue One standards? Thanks for all your help. At the very least, it would be much easier to buy a R1 kit and building that than make the modifications for R1. Pretty much every single piece is different. I As Luc mentioned, it may be easier for you to purchase an R1 Kit. I happened across these guys when I was researching my first build. The armor looks pretty decent (as per their webpage). I believe the parts were sculpted / cast by a guy named Cal Pierce - who I believe went on to work for Anovos.
