giric thren Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 I was wondering how I was going to trim my forearms and noticed that I cant tell from the outside where to stop. If I look at the inside of the shell I see the mold line and was wondering if trimming to that line was a good idea Thanks Thomas Quote
rapstertee Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 Not a bad idea, Thomas. Do what i did - if in doubt, draw on the plastic with a soft pencil and see if it looks right before cutting. Always handy, that approach. Quote
stukatrooper Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 (edited) I feel like giving up on the trim lines with the AP kit.Nothing lines up anyway! tk0000[501st] Posted August 21, 2008 Report Posted August 21, 2008 I use a china pencil to mark before i cut. It's a grease pencil that rubbs off. Im am mostly going by the mold lines but constantly looking at reference pics as i go mostly because the AP bicepts are exactly the same in the kit and should be mirrored so to speak so cut them a little different to match the reference pics. Some other parts are slightly different than the mold lines too. But i dont think most would ever notice. Quote
