Tiderion
Can someone give me a hint as to how to unglue the pre-assembled SDS pieces (or any other brand for that matter) without completely destroying the armor? It's pretty stuck on there, and I'm afraid I'm going to mangle it beyond repair.
gmrhodes13[Staff]
Really depends on which glue they have used, you may want to contact them and enquire. If it's a instant glue then a few options are to soak in a warm salt water bath, put pieces in a freezer for try to pry at a corner and ease them apart with pressure. humperdingle
I think it’s something like Stelmax 1985. Why are you trying to take bits apart? There may be an alternative?

humperdingle
Right, gotcha. My SDS kit had butt joints on the front facing glued parts. The backs were all open with velcro fastening. curious that they would glue overlaps
