Hey Dave thank you for your EIB application and your patience. Let's get right to it.
CRL and EIB Application Requirements:
All the required submission photos have been posted, and your armour meets all the necessary requirements for level 2. With that Tony and myself would like to welcome you to Expert Infantry, congratulations :salute:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:
In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections.

Great looking armour Dave, only a few dressing issues to cover off on so nothing that wont take you a matter of moments to correct

First one is your left thigh, or the right one if you are looking at the image. Just needs to be rotated inwards so the cover strips line up at the front.

Two main areas in this image, number one, you could still shorten the black straps connecting the top of the shoulder bells to the elastic under the bridges. If you can make those two touch it will be perfect.

The second is to just preposition your Thermal Det so it is central rather than sitting more to one side.

Another thought might be to tighten up the internal strapping on the left to bring the Back and Kidney plates evenly together so you dont have the gap that is appearing in this photo.

On both the left and right side, your Ab and Kidney plates are quite a bit out of alignment. The addition of some extra strapping that is tighter than the current piano wire and elastic set up will certainly help to stop this occurring. The two halves should but up against each other rather than overlap, and be reasonably level across the top.

Last mod for this section we look at the buttons on your Ab plate. These are all different sizes, and will look better if they are uniform. If I was to choose the best one it is the Blue button I have placed a tick next to. If you could repaint the rest as well as this one is, its going to look nice and tidy.

Centurion Suggestions:
In this section we prepare you the best we can for Centurion.  More photos are requested that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustment etc. If there are any areas of concern that would effect a future application they will be discussed here.

The only item we can see here is your Drop Boxes. The appear to move around a little so a dab of glue on the connecting straps will keep them aligned with the ends of the plastic ammo belt.

For level three certification (if applicable):

  • Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box.

That's the Ball game Dave, congratulations for a great application and successful EI approval.

We hope to see you in Centurion review soon :jc_doublethumbup:
