Traps and Tears Painting Lines

So I am basically done painting my ANH Stunt Helmet. But I can't seem to find a solid number for how many stripes to add to the Trap and Tear pieces.
I've seen everything from 5-7 on the tears and 8-13 on the dome. And it doesn't seem like anyone mentions it. 
The 501st Guide just says they need to be hand painted with the correct ANH TK detail. 
So I was just wondering if there if a general guidance for how many to have on each?

Look at some original helmets in the gallery and pick one you like to emulate.

I just looked at screen captures and screen used helmets and copied one. I ended up with 12 on the traps and 7 the tears.

Thanks for the advice, I decided to go with the higher count, 8 on the Tears and 13 on the Traps, very happy with the result.
