R1 TK armor - ABS?

Jim is doing flexible fiberglass, but no one right now outside of him is producing any armor. My costume does have vac-formed components that I cobbled together.

-Bucket by Hasbro. I heavily modified the crap out of it, and it's really looking close to what is on screen :D

-Chest and Back armor, Jim Tripon.

-FX shoulder bells.

-850 Armor Works Shoretrooper shins, abdomen/kidney, and fore arms (modified to be a R1TK)

-Thighs and Biceps are and will be done by me with plastic signs (so far, has been successful)

So dumb question why not just use the entire 850 arms?  Just curious of there's a difference I missed.
