Reno NV First Order Build [Diversity Props]

Recommended Posts

After waiting a year for Anovos to deliver I decided to switch to Diversity Props. I will be adding photos from the very early stages of the creation of the armor until it is completed. Below is everything I have purchased to complete my kit. Some of it was bought in anticipation of the Anovos kit that will now be included with my Diversity Props kit.

Many of us have attached bolts to the blasters so that they can be holstered. You don't necessarily need the 100% screen accurate bolts to do it (but kudos if you decide to go that route). You simply need bolts that are long enough and that have the proper head size to fit within the holster grooves.

Thanks! How hard are the blasters to modify? I asked the seller and he hadn’t drilled into his blasters before. Sounded like he might be able to modify it with working bolts if I could give him general placement, spacing between the bolts and length of the bolt as well. Thank you again.

Not hard at all - it's just a matter of drilling a couple of small holes and installing the bolts. But I would wait until you get the actual armor together so that you can accurately determine where the holes should be.

My undersuit from 'Stormtrooper Undersuit' came today. After opening the package I didn't think it would fit. Though sure enough it did, though very skin tight.

Still Prepping my storage container was hoping to have a least a coat of paint on it by now. Taping everything off has taken a lot longer than expected.

Well that sucks. Was hoping I was getting something that would last me more than a few troops.

Hopefully you'll be fine but just giving you the heads-up. Others have echoed the same issue in the past.

My Aerator from Vaderpainter and helmet electronics from ukswrath came in today.

Hopefully your Aerator swap goes well. I have been debating about doing that myself but I am not sure of the best way to remove it since it is glued on.

The box is looking awesome! Are you going to put a a First Order logo on it?

I'll let you know how the aerator swap goes when I get my kit in the mail.

Yeah I plan on putting a first order logo on the red section.  I finished painting it late last night and will post a picture later on today on how it turned out. Have some over spray and a few areas that need to be touched up. However overall it turned out pretty good. First time doing something like this.

The plastic aerator on the Anovos Standard bucket actually pops off very easily. It is literally stuck on with a thin line of CA glue. A gentle 'push and pull' on the aerator sees it pop-off in no time :)
