Plastic Welder Question

Plastic Welder, is there any way to break the bond with out cutting the armor apart?

 

(i did a search of the forums but came up with nothing, maybe i missed it)

Oooooo I dunno, I've never tried to break it. I've heard something about freezing it tho.

Throw it in a freezer for a couple hours. It should pop right apart with a little flexing, but not too much as the plastic does get more brittle when it is that cold.

Would using an old butter knife help with flexing once the part comes out of the freezer? I bought a few from the Salvation Army and use them as "helpers" for other projects.

Thanks for the tip, I will clear out the freezer and try that.
