MrSnrub[501st] Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 i just got my icomm and aker and had no problems with it, it sounds great! but when i put my helmet on it starts giving off feedback and i can't figure it out, i need some suggestions as what i can do to remove as much of the feedback as possible, the mic i am using is an omnidirectional and under my balaclava with some foam on it, i was thinking maybe a new mic could help but ill have to wait for payday to buy a new one lol Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 I'd suggest trying another Aker microphone first, I don't have any issues with feedback using the standard microphone and a balaclava. Quote
MrSnrub[501st] Posted January 20, 2017 Author Report Posted January 20, 2017 it may have also been a bit loud after some playing with it, but will defiantly get another mic Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 Where is the speaker located? I have my Aker attached with Velcro to the inside of my chest plate pretty low, and found out early on that it's best to do a "volume check" before putting your bucket on. Keeping the volume lower helps, but I did eventually switch to a better (anti feedback) mic. 1 Quote
