starscream19120
Hello everyone I'm a newbie here. I'm working on a hasbro conversion but my battery door has disappeared on me. Anyone know where I can get a replacement or get one 3D printed before I'm out another $40+ just for a little door? Any help is appreciated!! T-Jay[TK]
Hi Hector, welcome to the FISD. Depending on your skills, you could build this part from scratch (with an ABS sheet for example). Or you could try to get a resin counter to completely cover that opening with a more accurate part. starscream19120
Yea I've thought about replicating it with some left over abs from my TK, but getting that textured detail seems impossible! I may just leave it smooth
kman[TK]
Maybe spend a minimal amount on a 3D Printed counter from Shapeways and cut out the piece you need? Or find someone local with one, and make an imprint with Sculpy or the like, to cast your own copy?
starscream19120
Not a bad idea, I have a buddy with a hasbro so I can make a mold out of his battery door
