Are bicep strap hooks required for esb build

All pictures including screen grabs from the movie, show the biceps lower then the bells. I have a clear screen grab of TK without hooks. (episode 5 during "Luke it's a trap" seen)

There are actually fewer troopers with biceps hooks than without. So don't worry, they are certainly not compulsory. It's just something 501st members like to add because it keeps the biceps armor from twisting around your arm too much.
