netslave[501st] Posted May 16, 2015 Report Share Posted May 16, 2015 How would you choose to reinforce old, thin, or cracked armor? My initial thought is fiberglass, but ugh... I've never worked with it. If I use that, and the armor is cracked, what about the front of the armor? Would you use bondo or something else to fill in the crack? For the front, I'd suggest the old abs-paste. dissovr some ABS in acetone to make a paste. Spread it on the crack, let dry, sand smooth. ABS and bondo don't really like each other.
