If you are gap filling thick is probably better. Whenever I use CA glue for normal building I'm using medium. Mostly don't use it though, unless I need some instant bond. It certainly gives you some breathing space before it locks, but if you are using talk with it, it is the same as using zip kicker, Bang and its set.
