Hey troops-

I purchased a set from Darth Voorhees for my TD, and i need some room in the thighs, and the biceps.  Has anyone out there ever done this?  Need to pop the already glued seam, and give me a little more space.

If anyone out there has any experience in this, please let me know, i'd love any advice you could offer

Thanks!

Heat gun. Do it gently, bit by bit. If he used E6000, it will be no problem. Other glues may be a bit more difficult.

The joints glued with e6000 come apart quite easily, by gently prying with a smooth tool or a butter knife. Start at the end of the strip, once you get going it will come right off, and since your a TD any marks made will hidden by a nice weathering.

no heat gun!

since you're a TD just get some plastic for sale signs and paint em to match for shims.

Good luck!  I try to use E6000 as much as possible so that I can take things apart if needed.  :duim:

Thanks Gents!  Increasing the bicep by 10mm so it's a decent amount.  Preserved the outer finishing strips perfectly.  Made myself some decent shims with a fairly thick Tow Zone sign i had lying around the house...don't ask.  They're sitting and drying with a primer coat on them before I

So far so good.  pried off without much issue simply using a flat dull object.

Thanks for the advice and support brothers!

Great news, if you have left over E6000 just use you're thumb and rub it off
