Dark Trooper Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 What is the best way to get your Bottom rubber trim to stay I have a S Trim ? Quote
bjsavage7[TK] Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 Me too. just a thin strip all the way around & then I clamped it in a few spots to keep it shaped tightly. Quote
captsafe66[Admin] Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 Mine stays on...most of the time...with no adhesive. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 If you cut the trim larger than what is needed, when you fit it to your lid the extra material forces the trim to stay on, I have not had any problems and have not needed to use glue Quote
Mogwai[TK] Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 I did the same. I just cut it a little bit larger and pushed the whole thing in it`s place. Stays there with no glue for several troops now. Quote
Dark Trooper Posted March 24, 2013 Author Report Posted March 24, 2013 Thanks for all your help. I was just asking because when I would try to put my trim on it would fall off. Quote
Griffin247 Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 I have the same issue on my ATA. Glad to see glue is an option and accepted (since it did not come glued). They more I do this TK build, the more I see everyone does what works for them, but still end up with very similar outcomes. Can't wait till I get done. Quote
